ELVIS AT TUNICA!

For many of you who subscribe to The HOOK Magazine you're aware of the "bet" that grew into a cause,

where Oklahoma puller James Grossman said he'd wear an Elvis suit (spurred out

of a conversation whether or not Elvis was Dead or Alive) and pull in it during the Friday session of Tunica,

provided we raised $1000.00 for The Southern Nationals' charity of record for 2013, The St. Jude's Childrens

Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.  We're already close to the $1000 mark, but this isn't about pullers,

or a bet, or even bring Elvis "back to life"; This is about providing much-needed funds to assist the children who pass through the

doors of St. Judes.   The donation window closes November 22nd, 2013 for online contributions. At that time,

I (Bryan Lively) will tabulate the funds, record all of the names for print in a future edition of The HOOK, and during

the Friday session the group of friends who coaxed James into this deal will present a check (100% of funds contributed)

to be donated to St. Judes on  behalf of all the pullers who donated to the cause.   You may also donate through the mail,

send those contributions (your choice of amount) to:

Steve Borts, 319 S. Mills Street, Jamestown, Missouri 65046

or donate at the link below.  If you have any questions feel free to contact me at editor@hookmagazine.com. Thank you.
